Meet Dr. Kenneth Downing After graduating from Clackamas High School, Dr. Downing attended Portland State University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then received his dental training at OHSU’s School of Dentistry. Dr. Downing has spent the majority of his post-graduate career in private practice, working as an associate dentist in the Portland area prior to taking over the dental office of Dr. Chick Miller in February, 2021.Dr. Downing and his family reside in the city of Happy Valley. His wife, Shellaina, also pursued a career in medicine as she is a nurse in the Mother-Baby department at OHSU. Together they have two sons, Harrison and Maximus, as well as two Maine Coon cats, Rory and Zoe. Dr. Downing took after his grandfather, Dr. Larry Rask, who also practiced dentistry in southeast Portland for close to 40 years. |
